New Drainage / Water Managemnt Work for City of Cambridge, MA

Modern Continental Construction today announced its winning bid for a $3.3 million job to build a drainage attenuation system and make other storm water management improvements for the City of Cambridge at Bellis Circle and Sherman Street. The improvements include the construction of an underground concrete storage tank and pumping station, force main, sanitary sewer, storm drain, catch basins, earthen berms, and special drainage/sewer structures. Also included is the installation of an 84-inch casing pipe that will have to be installed under railroad tracks using the pipe jacking method.
