Site of the Boston Tea Party Ship to be renovated
Modern Continental Enterprises Inc., of Cambridge, MA, is pleased to announce its purchase of 470 Atlantic Avenue, Boston, MA, the historic site of the Boston Tea Party.
The 14 story, 370,000 square foot building will undergo a complete redevelopment process which is expected to be completed for tenant occupancy in early 2001. The extensive rehabilitation will include the development of a new facade, windows and lobby. When completed, the historic waterfront site will hold retail, office and restaurant space as well as public exhibit areas and an extended wharf for public access to the harbor walk.
Fallon Hines & O'Connor, A Trammel Crow Company, has been chosen as the exclusive leasing agent for 470 Atlantic Avenue. Bergmeyer Associates, Inc. has been chosen as the project's architects.
