he project is located at the southern end of the Alameda Corridor and runs parallel to the Alameda Corridor and runs parallel to Alameda Street from Sepulveda Blvd. north 3.5 miles to just north of Del Amo Blvd.

The project consists of the construction of a new precast/prestressed box girder railroad bridge over the Dominquez Channel with a concrete platform and at-grade turn around area; removal of approximately 22,000 track feet of existing railroad track, installation of approximately 13,000 track feet of new track with new turn-outs,; the furnish and installation of 9,500 linear feet of 18 inch to 24 inch precast octagonal concrete piling, structure excavation and backfill, grading and placing of subballast, retaining walls, channel outlet structures and surface and underground drainage structures.
